No Such Species

What form is this to behold

Concealed beneath hooded cloak

Cain in hand to crooked stand

It cannot be man

With swallowed tongue and labored breath

Words follow like shadows of death

Beneath cold facade

No creature of god

could ever understand

A heart for religion

And yearning for women

Unnatural joys of

unidentifiable origins

The markings its face

Tell of mothers disgrace

One way or another you'll pay

Think back to the time

When ever you toyed with heaven

Who's to say it isn't heaven

That holds your skin as collateral

I don't believe the name it gave me

The image reads like ancient weaponry

In this inhuman machine

This mindless mass of lethargy

There is no such thing

Whatever conception you have or had

No such species

It cannot be man

Who are you to say what I have become

Fractured thoughts like rivers run

Twisted lines for unfinished times

From father to mother to son

I would have everything you've done

I know I've seen you before, and I

Think I love you
