I am the seeker of life and light

I wake in the world  

ask no other for insight

For the world will unfold 

It's ocean mouth

And swallow whales,

The devil chooses the ones in which he'll manifest 

I am the seeker of life and light

I pray to no god 

And there's no one inside

The universe doesn't do his will

But I'll wish for it on nights like this

And only silence will pass my lips

Receive me now, my open wound

Breathe dust and ash, 

For I was doomed.
