Uses of Pain

There are many uses of pain

There are no reasons to retract or refrain

I'll change my joys, my kicks this time

I'll share it with the eternity of human kind

And I will open the wounds of a sovereign guide

To cast an illusion of god inside 

And I will spare this dead-doll day

Thine eyes met mine, tell in betrayal

Of the hours in which we've done   

With only the light of the moon
Where god should be, a shadow looms
A shadow falls upon my image in the glass
And upon wherever my every victim will be
If I have found the god inside me

I would send not a soul to the flame 

 Not while yet there are uses of pain
